Stasis

In the summer of 2015, I embarked on a journey to Israel and Palestine, and this is one of the stories I brought back from that trip.

I was deeply struck by the sense of stillness I encountered in every place. Even the most bustling of cities harbored an underlying immobility that prompted profound reflection on these places, their history, and the stories of all who inhabit them.
